fully flush shower for a McCarthy & Stone apartment

They said it couldn’t be done but we did it! We replaced a bath in a McCarthy & Stone apartment in Inverness with a fully flush, wet-room style shower.

It wasn’t easy – the apartment’s construction is not best suited for floor-level drainage but we developed a design, approved by the sound engineers and Building Control, which overcomes this particular challenge. And the best news is that this design specification should apply to all McCarthy & Stone apartments.

It means that this particular customer can now enjoy a spacious shower in a luxury, wet-room environment, discreetly equipped with stylish grab rails, easy-to-change loo roll holders and stunning looking, slip-resistant tiles. And should it ever be required, the glass screen can be easily removed to allow for easy shower commode chair access.

A beautiful, ageless shower-room that should help to prevent any premature move into assisted accommodation.
