When pull-outs aren't such a good idea
19 May 2012
Whilst I generally love pull-out drawer style appliances/fittings, I think this new pull-out microwave from Sharp is a bad idea.

Some of the most common items to be heated in a microwave are liquids - hot mile, soups etc. Surely there is a significant risk of them spilling over as you pull-out the drawer?
A fixed integrated microwave set at the right height for the client with door opening in the right direction for an adjacent worktop, with a pull-out shelf underneath, is a far better option.
