Our clients can have whatever shower they like - just so long as it's level!

We recently finished transforming a bathroom into a level access shower room for a client who insisted she wanted a shower tray. Of course, we said “no problem” – however it had to meet our Ageless Design standard. That means 100% flush with the surrounding floor tiles to ensure there's no trip hazard for people entering the shower area and maximum flexibility just in case a shower chair is wanted in future.

I hope you agree that the result is stunning.

More importantly, this photo demonstrates that shower trays can be set flush into the tiled floor.

In fact, it’s the absolute leading edge of contemporary shower design. The tray we used was by Kaldewei – who design and manufacture the most stunning high quality products – and being made of a special steel enamel, it’s hugely durable too. True Ageless Design all round in fact. Even before we mention the extra full anti-slip coating we specified.

We take the preferences of our client very much to heart when it comes to selecting styles and particular products for our room designs. But we won’t compromise on level access - and with careful installation by experienced tradesmen, we don’t have to.
