Builders get 'ageless design'
10 February 2012
I’ve been delighted with the design of my own kitchen for years. And some of the friends whom I’ve let trial the finer features have even asked me to replicate and copy the design in their own kitchens – because it is simply stunning and so enjoyable to use.
However I was surprised to see an almost identical replica of my kitchen in this month’s Building Magazine in their Housing Expert section. And DELIGHTED that it was within an article about how UK kitchen design and manufacture is changing (albeit slowly) to better suit the needs of our ageing population - with the incorporation of Ageless Design features increasingly becoming the norm.
It seems like the ‘housing experts’ are finally catching up with us. Hurrah for us all!!!
Compare my kitchen (see picture below) to the one in the article (click here)!
